Credit Transfer

Credit Transfer can be done from your bank account. Credit Transfers allows you to transfer funds from your bank account to Cois Sionna Desmond Credit Union

Payroll Deduction

Part or all of your earnings can be transferred to your Credit Union on a regular basis to save, pay off loans or ready for you to withdraw. Payroll runs from local business including Wyeth Nutrition, Aughnish Alumina and Kingspan. This is a free service offered to members who are employees of this companies.

Electronic Funds Transfer

Members can transfer funds by Electronic Funds Transfer to bank accounts in Ireland with the minimum of fuss.

Sort Code

Cois Sionna Credit Union Sort Code 99-21-97

Cois Sionna Credit Union is part of the Banking Network and is therefore allocated a Sort Code of 99-21-97. Each members account is allocated an 8 digit bank account number for online banking purposes. (Please contact the office to receive your unique account number).

Benefits of Sort Code

  • Ability to set up online banking payments to your credit union account.
  • Ability to have wages/pensions/social welfare and other payments sent directly to your credit union account.

 

Payment Services Directive

On 1st November 2009 the Payment Services Directive (PSD) was transposed into legislation in Ireland and throughout the EU. This Directive ensures that the same legal framework applies to all payments made within Europe whereby businesses and consumers can make payments easily, cost effectively and efficiently. The PSD establishes the necessary legal framework for SEPA payments and also applies to existing national payment products. The PSD was transposed into Irish legislation as the European Communities (Payment Services) Regulations 2009.
